The York Falcon Band represents York High School in Yorktown Virginia. Under the leadership of Director of Bands, Richard Purvis, our program is dedicated to developing musicianship, marching skills, pride, and self-discipline in each of our members. With a membership of nearly ninety performers, this award winning Marching Falcon Band has competed in the prestigious Bands of America Super Regional Championships in Atlanta, GA. The have travelled the Mid-Atlantic region competing in the USSBA and various other circuits.
The Falcon Band Winterguard, under the direction of _______, practices and competes from December to April. They have travelled from NC to Rhode Island to perform & compete in the AIA circuit, as well as the national level WinterGuard International venues.
